Two Arcuri Group courses are certified under California’s BSCC Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) program — SAS® and AVDE-S™ passed the state’s formal training review: the proving ground for our curriculum.
- Situation Awareness Specialist® (SAS) — STC certification #08699992 · 5 STC hours
- Applied Verbal De-Escalation Specialist™ (AVDE-S) — STC certification #09044481 · 3 STC hours
- Taken together: a combined 8 STC hours
For probation officers, corrections staff and supervisors, the hours count toward annual Title 15 training requirements, and STC-participating agencies — sheriffs, corrections, probation and police — may apply state STC funding toward tuition.
